WQF Congress and the plans for 2012

World Quadrathlon Federation (WQF) Congress has spent the last few
weeks finalising its revised Constitution and a new Fees Order was
set up by the member countries, and a new Executive Board selected.
The old and new President remains the Czech Vaclav Marek. The new
Vice President is Steve Hook from Great Britain. Selected from

Roušavý and Mielke secure themselves the World Cup

With
the European championships (Bude) results now in the WQF World Cup
2011 final standings can now be released. In six races of the series
in Spain, Czech Republic, Great Britain and Germany numerous
athletes battled it out with one another to score World Cup points.
After an exciting season the winners of 2010 appeared also in this
year again as the most constant ones. With the men the Czech Leoš

European championships - Háša further in top shape

On
the last weekend the Quadrathletes fought around the titles of the
European championships in Bude in the southwest of England. The
course begins with a 1,000-metre sea swim, within the partial
shelter of the Bude Breakwater, then a 30km cycle ride, including
some of the steepest coastal hills in the country, then onto the
canal for 10km of canoeing and a final 10km cross-country run to
